Byung Wook Kim

BYUNG WOOK KIM received the B.S. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, Pusan National University, Pusan, South Korea, in 2005, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2007 and 2012, respectively.

He was a Senior Engineer with the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, Changwon-si, South Korea, from 2012 to 2013. He was an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical and Railway Engineering, Kyungil University, Gyeongsan-si, South Korea, from 2013 to 2016. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of ICT Automotive Engineering, Hoseo University, from 2016 to 2019.

He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Changwon National University, Changwon-si, South Korea.

His research interests include visible light communications, optical camera communications, machine learning, deep learning, V2X communications and nanocommunications. He is a member of IEEE, KICS and IEIE.
